Terms of Use

1. Scope

These terms govern the use of capypad.com and any related functionality (the "Service"). The provider is Markus Wiesecke (see Impressum).

2. Free public beta

Capypad is in public beta and provided free of charge. There is no guarantee of availability, feature completeness, or data persistence. Features may change without notice; data may be reset during beta upgrades.

3. Accounts

Some features (streak, learning history, personal stats) require sign-in via Google or GitHub. You agree to comply with each provider's terms and not to use someone else's account. You may request account deletion at any time via [email protected].

4. Acceptable use

• The Service is for personal, non-commercial learning only.
• Automated scraping, excessive requests, or attempts to bypass security mechanisms are prohibited. Rate limits are enforced server-side.
• Content (quiz questions, code snippets, learning material) is copyrighted and may not be republished or used commercially without permission.

5. Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is". We make no warranties as to the correctness of quiz answers, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose. Liability for slight negligence is excluded to the extent permitted by law. Liability for intent and gross negligence, and for harm to life, body, or health, remains unaffected.

6. Changes

We may update these terms as the Service evolves. Material changes are published on this page with an updated date. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

7. Governing law

German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Consumers retain the protections of mandatory provisions of their country of residence.
